About Trebinje
Trebinje
Trebinje is a tourism gem that carries the scent of the sea and aromatic Mediterranean herbs. The city is dominated by its Old Town, with narrow stone streets and historic walls, while the center is adorned by the famous century-old plane trees, a symbol of the city promenade. Rising above the city is Hercegovačka Gračanica, the eternal resting place of poet Jovan Dučić, offering the most beautiful views of Trebinje’s bridges and vineyards. Trebinje is also home to Tvrdoš Monastery, renowned for its centuries-old winemaking tradition, and the Perović (Arslanagić) Bridge, a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture. With more than 260 sunny days per year, the city is an ideal base for exploring both the Adriatic coast and the mountains of Herzegovina.
