About Neum

Neum

Located in the southernmost part of the country, Neum offers approximately 24 kilometers of Adriatic coastline sheltered from strong open-sea winds, making its waters calm and pleasantly warm. The town has developed into a modern tourist destination with numerous hotels, apartments, and pebble beaches. In addition to swimming and water sports, Neum is perfectly positioned for day trips to Dubrovnik, the island of Korčula, or inland attractions such as Vjetrenica Cave and Hutovo Blato Nature Park. The hinterland of Neum hides a rich history with medieval stećak tombstones and authentic villages known for premium olive oils, wines, and seafood specialties. Thanks to its large number of sunny days, Neum is an attractive destination not only during summer but also as a peaceful year-round getaway.
